Mark Anthony Galluzzo
MARK ANTHONY grew up in Clay County, Florida and studied Economics at the University of Florida, before heading north to New York City as a teenager. Once there, Galluzzo was awarded the prestigious Paulette Goddard Scholarship to attend New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he won numerous awards as a writer, director and cinematographer.
Mark Anthony cut his teeth as an assistant on the high-wire T.V. act that is NBC’s Saturday Night Live before packing his bags once again for a move to Hollywood.
The semi-autobiographical drama, TRASH, was Mark Anthony’s critically acclaimed directorial debut, about which Variety’s Daniel M. Kimmel declared, “Low-budget drama about white trash scores a direct hit.”
His follow up was Lions Gate Films’ black comedy, RSVP, which LA Times declared to be “Diabolically Clever!” and “An Art-House Scream.”
Now a British citizen, Galluzzo makes his home in London with his wife and three children, where he keeps busy lecturing on directing, shooting commercials for international clients and preparing new feature films for both Europe and Hollywood.
