This is a mood reel we put together for the feature film ‘The Wards’ after a scouting trip to DC. The deal fell through and the script is back in turnaround. But for anyone looking for a hard hitting urban drama / thriller, you could do worse than a read of our script.
We pitch it as Boyz in the Hood meets Rocky.
Log Line: A youth struggles to break free from gang life in D.C.’s notorious Ward 8 in order to pursue his dream of competing as an Olympic boxer.
